ABOUT KELLY

KELLY CLINTON HOLMES
Comedienne / Singer

Las Vegas entertainer Kelly Clinton may be best described as "a kaleidoscope of talent." No matter which performing direction she turns — singer, actress, comedienne, impressionist, television personality, MC, or events host — her charismatic rays always shine through.

Clinton, Entertainer of the Year for 2015,  was the headliner for 8 years at the exclusive Las Vegas "Stirling Club at Turnberry Towers" where she also served as entertainment director. Being an "entertainers' entertainer", Clinton drew many of Las Vegas headliners and performers to her shows. Saturday nights often turned into old Vegas-style jam sessions with Clinton sharing her stage with the likes of Bill Medley, Jack Jones, Clint Holmes, The Scintas, Gordie Brown, Mary Wilson and other Strip entertainers.

Those fortunate enough to see Clinton will get to know the Las Vegas veteran performer. Growing up a big fan of Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball, Clinton's show is an eclectic presentation of song, comedy, dance and characters.

Everybody has a story. "Freckled For Life" is mine, hopefully people will get to know a little bit about me" says Clinton. "I always identified with Carol Burnett and Lucille Ball in their approach to comedy. They had no problem glamming down or doing something silly for the sake of the sketch. I’ve always gone for the humor, it started with mimicking family members and going for a laugh."

"The New Jersey-born performer premiered her one-woman show at the Suncoast in Las Vegas. More recently she has performed the show to critical acclaim at both the popular Metropolitan Room and the venerable Cafe’ Carlyle in New York City. Her celebrity nights at the Bootlegger Bistro along with her many appearances in show rooms and hot spots in Las Vegas have made her one of the city’s most respected entertainers.

Clinton's television credits include "Vegas Live" alongside Sheena Easton and Clint Holmes. She was a winner on ABC's "America's Funniest People. She served as a celebrity interviewer on "Entertainment Las Vegas Style”, and appeared on numerous national television shows with Wayne Newton and Engelbert Humperdinck, who Kelly shared the stage with in Las Vegas and all over the country. Her Theater credits include Sister Mary Amnesia in the hit show "Nunsense" at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Her company, Kelly Clinton Productions creates shows such as the long running hit “Shades of Sinatra” and also coordinates special events and promotes talent. She recently became the permanent host of "Talktails", an exciting online show in which she interviews and interacts with some of entertainment's most interesting celebrities.

In 2010 Clinton received the prestigious Bella Award. In 2011 and 2012 Broadwayworld.com nominated her as Best “Comedic Actress”. Kelly has enjoyed being a part of the “Circle of Red” and working with The Arthritis Foundation as well as many other charitable organizations. One of her greatest passions is mentoring young entertainers.

RITA LIM
Jazz Singer

Rita Lim was born in Los Angeles, CA. It was obvious at a young age that she had a natural talent for singing. Her family took her to Asia in her youth to learn of her heritage and start developing her singing talent. Upon returning to the United States, she began modeling professionally and studying American Jazz, completely immersing herself in the styles of some of her favorite singers, like Julie London, Shirley Horn, Karen Carpenter and Jeri Southern.

She eventually moved to Las Vegas, NV where she continued studying and performing. She has honed her talents, singing with some of the top bands and musicians in Las Vegas, and working with incredibly talented arrangers like Bill Fayne (longtime musical director for Clint Holmes and arranger of multiple musical scores for various Las Vegas shows). Whether singing smooth jazz or the classics, her style is uniquely her own. In Las Vegas, she has enjoyed recurring engagements at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Italian American Club Restaurant, South Point Hotel & Casino, Sam's Town Hotel & Casino, Tuscany Hotel & Casino, and the Suncoast Hotel & Casino.

Rita released her first album THE SECRET OF LIFE in 2012, which has not only been received very well here in the United States but in Asian countries as well (her version of “I Will” is a best seller in Japan), and she has already begun work on a second album.

Rita performs several nights a week throughout Las Vegas, including every Friday night with “Joey Ugarte and the Jazz Vibrations” at the iconic EL Cortez Hotel & Casino in the Parlour Bar & Lounge. She has been very excited to work with Joey's band saying, “This is my first time singing jazz with the flavor of Latin and Brazilian beats. It has been an amazing and creative experience. We have a lot of fun.” Rita also appears regularly at the well-known Bootlegger Bistro and works with Carolyn Freeman of the American Jazz Initiative who is dedicated to keeping Jazz alive and vibrant in Las Vegas. TIM VEAZEY
GUEST ARTIST
ABOUT TIM
x

TIM VEAZEY
Singer / Songwriter

Tim has performed for everyone from the late Princess Margaret to Ted Turner and with everyone from Pete Fountain to Dickey Betts of The Allman Brothers. He has entertained the audience gamut from intimate listening rooms to crowds of over sixty thousand at 1988's Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia, where he performed a one-man, forty-five minute pre-game concert and subsequent National Anthem (accompanied by a massive three-thousand member national collegiate band). Tim was also chosen to perform for NFL Commissioner Pete Tagliabue at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana in conjunction with Super Bowl XXIV, January 1990.

Tim was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1953. Three years later, Tim's parents gave him a "miniature/toy" piano. He soon began picking out one-finger melodies to hymns he would hear in church, as well as popular radio hits and television theme songs. At age five, formal training commenced and continued through his mid-teens, where he found himself more interested in what he was hearing on local pop radio stations than in classical music. Enter The Beatles and Andy Williams. As musically diverse as the two styles were, Tim was drawn to both, and in a professional musical career that has spanned almost forty years, that musical diversity has served him well.

As a solo performer, Tim has shared the stage with such artists as B.J. Thomas, Felix Cavilere (The Rascals), Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Ray Stevens, David Allen Coe, The Swinging Medallions, Kathy Mattea, Louise Mandrell, Ed Bruce, Sawyer Brown, Larry Gatlin, Chet Atkins, Mickey Newbury, and Karla Bonoff. He has been a guest artist at many festivals such as The Miracle Mile Festival in Coral Gables, Florida, The River City Festival in Miami, Florida, SpringFest in Pensacola, Florida, Riverbend Festival, Chattanooga, Tennessee and NightFall Concert Series in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tim has also been a longtime annual guest songwriter at The Frank Brown International Songwriter's Festival in Perdido Key, Florida. He has entertained corporate CEO's and dignitaries from Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, Georgia-Pacific, CNN and TBS, and sports icons such as Tommy Lasorda, Joe Torre and Pat Riley.

As a supporting musician, Tim has toured internationally, playing piano & keyboards and singing backup vocals for such stars as Crystal Gayle, Rita Coolidge, Doug Stone, Earl Thomas Conley, Billy Joe Royal and Sonny Turner (of The Platters).

Tim has made appearances on various network television shows and in commercial music videos. He has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, BBC radio and television and appeared in the movie "Gordy."

A favorite of Atlanta sports fans and organizations, Tim has performed The National Anthem (acappella) on more than one-hundred occasions for The Atlanta Braves, The Atlanta Hawks, The Atlanta Falcons and The Atlanta Flames. He was personally invited by Tommy Lasorda to sing the Anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Tim's songwriting is naturally as diverse as his musical influences, styles and abilities, and he is the artist to record most of his work. Rita Coolidge recorded "Out of The Blues" (the title-cut to her 1996 critically acclaimed CD), which she co-wrote with Tim. The Native American group "Walela" recorded Tim's soul-searching "Wash Your Spirit Clean" on their award-winning debut CD, and the song has also been featured on numerous compilation projects.

Above is what Tim has accomplished in his musical career up until recently. In the past year, he has felt impressed to start a music ministry, which will focus primarily on performing concerts in and for churches around the U.S. He has been playing concerts in churches for the past eight years in addition to his sister-schedule in the secular arena, which includes festivals, various live-entertainment venues, corporate events, charity events, senior-citizen venues, private functions and from time to time "hitting the road" again for some shows with Crystal Gayle. Tim feels God has been leading him more and more in a spiritual musical direction, and he wants to follow that calling as long as it is there....hopefully from now on. The title to Tim's newest CD is "GOD IS WORKIN'" and he says God really has been working in his life and many others. Tim would love to share his "Gospirisophical" (gospel/spiritual/philosophical) songs with you in concert. To book him for a concert or to order any of his CD's, call the number below.

ELISA FIORILLO
GUEST ARTIST
ABOUT ELISA
x

ELISA FIORILLO
Jazz / Big Band Singer

Elisa Fiorillo grew up in the soulful city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. That might explain why she sings with so much soul or it could be her Italian/Irish/Cherokee Indian background. Her parents and her grandmother were very musical. Her father Alexander Fiorillo is a concert pianist who studied with Vladimir Horowitz and has been a professor of music at Temple University for over 40 years. Music was always a major part of her every day life. The music inspired her to start her career early on singing on a local television talent show for children. At 11 years old she got her first paying gig opening up for Blues Singer Linda Hopkins at the legendary blues club "Sweetwaters Cafe" in NYC. She went on to start auditioning in New York City for theater/commercials. At the age of 15 she was on Broadway performing in a musical production of "The Three Musketeers". At age 16 when her parents divorced, she started to write songs as a theraputic way to get through the turmoil.

After winning Star Search in 1985, she went on to release three albums with Chrysalis Records which landed her on the Billboard charts with a #1 Dance hit "Who Found Who" that she recorded with Record Producer Jellybean Benitez. On her 2nd album, "I AM" the song she co-wrote with Prince titled "On The Way Up" charted in the Top 40 (#26).

Elisa has worked with: Prince, Jellybean Benitez, Savage Garden, Dave Koz, La Toya Jackson, Belinda Carlisle, David Cassidy and Billie Myers just to name a few. She also received the award for Best New Artist at the Tokyo Music Festival in Japan in 1989 for her self titled debut album on Chrysalis. Her perfect pitch and ability to sing many different styles of music has given her the opportunity to sing on many commercials and jingles including: CBS, Planet Reebok, Hawaiian Punch, Dunkin Hines, Fox TV, Aquafresh and many others.

After having a career in the pop/dance world, Elisa turned her musical taste and interest towards singing and writing Jazz. In 2002 at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, Elisa was chosen as the opening act for the late great Nina Simone. She received rave reviews and decided to continue down the road of be-bop and standards. While she was pregnant with her one and only child Olivia, she collaborated with longtime friend and producer Nyalle Iameh to produce her first jazz album. The album titled "Labor Of Love" features a song about being pregnant called "Bun In The Oven" and has received wonderful recognition and praise in the Jazz community. Elisa wrote all of the songs on the album except for one cover of "All The Way". It can be purchased through I-Tunes, on her website www.elisafiorillo.com or at Cd Baby.com.

After releasing her album "Labor Of Love", Elisa got the best phone call of her life - from Prince. Over 20 years had passed, but that didnt stop him from remembering her talent and asking her to join his band - the New Power Generation. Since that call, Elisa performed all over the world with Prince and the NPG. When she wasn't busy performing with Prince, she was at home working on songwriting and putting music together to perform with her favorite band in Las Vegas- The Bruce Harper Big Band. Singing songs from the Great American Songbook-she has truly found her passion and it is finally in the right place. "Singing with The Bruce Harper Big Band is exactly where I belong." Before Prince passed unexpectedly- he told Elisa to keep on writing her songs (he was a big fan of "Share It With You", "Lollypop Ice Cream" from The Dease & Reese Project and a song called "This Old House Of Mine" & "Staring Back At You.") He also told her to join a Big Band and that is exactly what she did.

JIMMY HOPPER
GUEST ARTIST
ABOUT JIMMY
x

JIMMY HOPPER
Singer / Musician

When National Enquirer invited readers to meet “the hottest unknown performer in America,” it was only a matter of time before Jimmy Hopper would make his Journey of the Heart one which would reach far beyond his popularity in the showrooms and other major venues of Las Vegas.  His interim move to the Big Apple provided numerous opportunities to tour nationwide while writing the music and score for the animation project and Broadway musical, The Day There Was No More Music, touted by some to be the next Lion King. The animation version is currently in production stages.

Becoming one of the most sought-after concert and performance-show entertainers started long before Las Vegas. Jimmy Hopper began singing at the age of three at the top of his lungs from the back-yard swing in Virginia with his audience of six siblings. His mother tells the story that the neighbors would come out to listen and remind her that “He has the voice of an angel...he’ll grow up to be a singer.” Prophetic words indeed.

Fast forward through years of performances and his numerous jingles written for television and radio. Jimmy secured vocal training from Darlene Romano, an opera teacher who taught him “proper technique” but, as Jimmy aptly states, “didn’t mess with my style.” The two years of training increased his range to an astounding five octaves.

His journey continued, from San Francisco in the late 90s where he was awarded “Pop Vocalist of the Year” by the San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, to Las Vegas in 1998. Interestingly enough, it was his first year at the Rio Hotel singing rock ballads that he began singing opera.  One music critic provided the most apt description when he said, “Hopper is Freddie Mercury meets Andréa Bocelli.” The white spiked hair is startling in contrast to the strong opera vocals which flow from his lips, when in the next breath he takes on symphonic rock that brings the house down.

The rest of the story is rave reviews—from the four years as the Bellagio’s headliner in Las Vegas, to engagements across the country from Harrah’s Lake Tahoe to New England’s Big E music festival to the Hoku Amphitheatre in Kona, Hawaii. Additional accolades in Las Vegas included “Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year” by Gaming Today and “Performer of the Year” by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Jimmy Hopper delivers a high-energy inimitable evening drawing fans of all ages.  He sings the soundtrack of our lives in perfect pitch.  As Ron Taft of Ron Taft Productions/Los Angeles summed it up, “Jimmy Hopper…the most amazing voice you’ll ever love!”
